There is no doubt that web design is being revolutionized by new technologies such as AI, and new web page builders to choose from, but for the non-techie business/website owner this becomes a confusing issue.
Most business owners want to have more time to run their business not spend more time learning new tools!
That’s why, many of them turn to page builders in the first place.
Of the page builders on the market some are free and others have a subscription model.
Which page builder is the right one for you and how to choose?
When choosing the right tool for your website, there are several factors you should consider:
First, you should identify what kind of features you need and whether or not the page builder you’re looking at offers them, for example, time-saving hacks like: Right-clicks! OR how you can copy a style to a different item.
Second, consider how easy the page builder is to use and whether or not it’s intuitive for you, many tools are easy for your web designer but not necessarily for you, once you receive the website after it has been launched.
Finally, take into account the price of the page builder and whether or not it’s worth the investment.
Other factors you should also consider include reliability, performance, technical support, SEO features, template design and availability, many of those builders have limited templates then force you to upgrade in order to get more or in order to get more editing/customizing options.
I personally love “Divi” from Elegant Themes, and have been using it for 9 years without any problems, I’ve used it on more than 100 websites and it never failed me.
Here’s why I think Divi is the superior web page builder out there:
- Intuitive and easy to use, I don’t know any of their team members personally but I swear many of their developers must have been web designers before because the way they do things is so much better than any other page builders, From a web designer perspective.
- Great Support!
- Works the way I do especially with right clicks!
While most page builders have the options displayed on the left side of the page, Divi is the only one that gives you things to do and options to enable disable etc. just by right-clicking on the item you’re working on, this alone is HUGE! - Divi is the closest thing to WYSIWYG “what you see is what you get” and editing the page live in real-time, it’s like creating a document in “Word”.
- Most importantly it has the largest community of users worldwide and a dedicated team that is always working to make it better and better, they have just integrated AI directly into their page builder 😲(check the video on the left) so that you don’t have to go use external tools such as chat GPT for content and Midjourney for images, you can generate those right from within your page builder, you will barely need to use stock images anymore this changes everything.
